Roundtable is a meeting for leaders. It is held once a month, and gives leaders an update for what the Council and District are up to. Last night we discussed School Nights and Popcorn. Can you believe it? Popcorn already? Next Roundtable we have to give them our Show and Sell orders for Popcorn. Is this seriously happening? It seems like yesterday, we were having our last Pack Meeting of the year. Summer vacation is almost over.
On Tuesday we have Pack Planning for the year. I am looking forward to all the comments we will receive from the Committee on how we will do things. I am starting to get excited once again, and I am looking forward to another great year.
We are changing some of the way we are doing things this year. For example, Belsis and I are delegating more responsibilities to the Committee. For the past two years we have run ourselves ragged. We can’t do that again this year.
We are making it mandatory for all Scouts to participate in our Show and Sells this year. Last year we had a handful of Scouts that helped us out, and it wasn’t fair to them. This year, everyone will be involved.
That is a majority of the changes. I hope you guys like what we haved planned for the year.

Hope you both are enjoying your summer. Tommy has been up in Cincinnati all summer and returns the first week of August. I can’t believe summer is almost over.
This is just a suggestion for a possible field trip this year but have you ever looked at having a field trip at Wonder Works? I don’t recall that being a field trip in the past or if it was we weren’t able to go at that time but I was just on their website and I noticed that they do have a link for Scouts and thought that this may be a great place to go. Again, this is just a suggestion.
